第29回 Lucene/Solr勉強会（オンライン）

皆様、こんにちは。勉強会運営スタッフです。

今回は、Apache Solr 9 から可能となったニューラル検索に焦点を当て、多言語モデルのファインチューニングや商品特徴のベクトル化をトピックとして取り上げます。

ロンウイットではニューラル検索の事例が集まってきておりますが、顧客事例はそのまま使えないため、代わりにデモサイトを作成しました。デモサイト作成中に得られた知見を皆様と共有したく、勉強会を開催させていただきます。

なお、英語での発表に通訳はつきませんが、Google Meet の字幕機能を使って字幕を表示させながらご視聴いただくことが可能です（Google Meet の画面下にあるメニューから［CC(字幕をオンにする)］アイコンをクリックしてください）。さらに、Chromeをお使いであれば、拡張機能のGoogle翻訳を有効にした状態でMeetに参加すると、英語字幕を日本語で読めます。

オンライン参加についての注意事項

以前のアンケートで「入室音がうるさかった」というご指摘がありました。そこで開始時間の10分前から入室可能とすることにしますので、開始時間前に入室して開始をお待ちください。開始時間の10分前までは、講師のカメラやマイクのテストを行っていますので、入室を承諾できません。早く来すぎて入室が拒否されてしまった場合は、開始時間の10分前以降にあらためて入室するようにしてください。やむをえず開始時間を過ぎての入室となった方については、ある程度の人数をまとめて入室許可とするなど、管理者側で入室タイミングを調整させていただく可能性がありますので、ご了承ください。

また入室したらミュート（マイクオフ）で参加してください。

質問はオンライン会議システムのチャットでお願いします。必ずしもすべてのご質問に回答をお約束するものでありません。

1. Solr マニュアルの検索における多言語モデルのファインチューニング（英語）

Solrのマニュアルは英語ですが、多言語モデルをファインチューニングすることで、日本語でもニューラル検索できるようにしました。

2. オンラインレビューに基づく商品検索におけるセマンティック検索（英語）

ユーザーがオンラインで投稿した製品レビューは、様々な価値のある情報を提供してくれます。これらの情報を基に、日本語モデルによる製品の特徴付けを行うことで、よりユーザのニーズに合致したセマンティックサーチ結果を得ることができました。

Hello, everybody! This is meet-up management staff.

In this meeting, we will focus on the Neural Search feature that became possible in Apache Solr 9, and discuss the topics for fine-tuning a multi-language model and the vectorization of product features.

RONDHUIT has accumulated many examples of neural search, but because these examples are customer cases, and we respect our customers' privacy, they cannot be used as they are. For this reason, we've created a demo site and we would like to share with you the knowledge obtained during the creation of this site.

Overview

Lucene/Solr Meet-up 29 - On-Line

Format: On-line - You will be provided with the URL needed to participate the session when you apply.
Times and Date: Wednesday April 26, 2023: From 10:30 to 12:00 (Room available from 10:20)

Notes on On-line Participation

There was comments regarding the sound being noisy whenever a person enters the room. We have decided to allow the participants to enter the room from 10 minutes before the session starts. Please wait for the session to start in the room. We will be testing the camera and microphone of the instructors until 10 minutes before the session starts and therefore cannot invite any participants into the room. Please try to enter the room from or after 10 minutes before the session starts if you are early and rejected to enter the room. Also note that we may manage the time and the number of participants invited into the room if they come to the room after the session starts.

Also, please set your microphone to off when you are invited in the room.

If you have any questions, use the chat function of on-line conference system. Please note that we may not be able to answer all the questions.

1. Fine-tuning a multi-language model for information retrieval using the Solr Manual

The Solr manual is available only in English at the moment, but we have made it possible to perform Neural Search in Japanese by fine-tuning a multi-language model.

2. Semantic search for product retrieval based on online reviews

Lara Sola Gallego @RONDHUIT
Users provide diverse and valuable information on their online product reviews. We employ this information to characterize products using a Japanese language model and performing semantic search to adjust the results to the users' needs.
